I was out tending my garden outside and while I was mulching up some soil that was a nice rich black color. I was wondering should I bring some of the high nutrient soil into the indoor garden? Bad idea.. Huh?

Well I remember the last time I did this many years ago. The soil look so nice and rich.. But foolishly its ridden with pests. that will wreck havoc indoors...
Wondering if theres a way to solve this problem....
Is Baking soil in the oven a good Idea? Will this sterile the soil and make it usefull?
Id rather not use a pesticide. ideas anyone..

Don't do it my man! As you said it will bring in visitors. The dreaded spider mite! White Flies! Fungus Gnats! Cut Worms! Blah... The Dreaded _____ ! :)

Besides sterlizing it in an oven creates an aweful stink. People usually try this only once. Dirt is not that expensive - FoxFarms has good stuff.

your right BudBill.
Dirt is cheap if thats your medium choice, Dont cut this coner whatsoever..
I would also not bring any plants from outdoors into your indoor garden.
I dont even bring them in the house period...

Another mistake made is Harvested outdoor buds brought into indoor areas you dry your indoor Buds in...
my drying location is near the grow area indoors. while bringing in fall Buds that are contaninated with mites from outside and putting then into indoor room drying area..
You just invited pests inside By the MILLIONS....no shit.lol...
your growroom might not get infected for a couple of weeks..
But the entire room now may need Bombed with pesticide and though this will not kill your plants do you really want to do work that otherwise wouldnt have needed to be done. Keep them rooms away if you can and are that maticulious about the ganja as I am....
if that dont sound right its cause Im stoned and Imal edit it later.ok.

ill come up with the fill in the blank in minute.....lol..:)

You are right about the outdoor buds going in for drying. When you hang them look at the part of the stem that points up. If you have mites they usually go there. If you see them give the "non budded tip" a dunk or clip it over a bucket so it can fall in there. Mites are just crazy, just when you think you got rid of them **pow** they are back!

ha ha... they are just chilling in the bucket waiting for you to forget they are in there and then you take that bucket and just move it into the indoor growroom
long after you removed them buds weeks even...

Can you hear the theme from "JAWS" in there.lol... :)
