View Full Version : When does tolerance become apparent?

I recently came across a few hydrocodones, enough for maybe 6 doses. I have NO opiate tolerance, and I would really like to get the most out of these. When will I start to build a significant tolerance, in terms of once a day use?

the third use will most likely (if you are using once a day for six days) need to be larger than the original dose.
Lets put it this way:
say you take 20mg hydro initial dose (this is NOT a reccomendation, just a hypothetical, arbitrary number to illustrate my point) then the tolerance schedule should look like this:
day 1: 20mg
day 2: 20mg
day 3: 25-30mg
day 4: 25-35mg
day 5: 35mg
day 6: 35-40mg
However, if you were to take a day or two off between each use, it would probably take 5-6 uses for your tolerance to increase at all. You'd be surprised at the difference a day between opiate uses does to prevent tolerance increase.
Again, I'd like to stress that the doseages I indicated above are merely hypothetical and in NO way an ideal amount for a first time user (although they do represent MY personal first use with hydrocodone, which was with 7.5mg vicoprofen) so please take the appropriate precautions.
hope that helps,

That seems like an accurate chart. Nice job!

no problem pharma. again, you might be starting out at 10mgs or whatever dose fits your tolerance, but the percentages of increase should be about the same.
enjoy and be safe
