wasting money on a day off

well, i have a day off, and recently my graffix bong broke and i was looking for something of roughly the same price with which to replace it.

but since i may likely go away to school and live in a dorm next fall, i didnt want a new bong. well, i wanted one, but thought it was better not to get one, and besides if i get another bong i want a new glass one...the acrylic w/ a glass slide is ok but i love a good glass on glass bong....

anyway, i ended up buying a hammer style bubbler. nothing fancy, pretty average glasswork, but a nice pipe all around and sure to serve me well for a long while. with taxes it was 35 bucks.

also i picked up some beer.

a six pack of lucid, a kölsch beer made by new holland brewery in michigan. i just had one, and its one of the tastiest i've had of this style. i also picked up a single of uerige sticke alt. sticke is a heavier, maltier, slightly higher alcohol version of an altbier if i'm not mistaken.

so yeah...i'm trying to decide if i should go grab lunch first and then smoke a bowl from my new bubbler, or if i should smoke the bowl and then go grab lunch.

i'm thinking pack it now, get lunch, bring it back here, smoke half, eat, then finish the bowl....

its a plan :P

My cousin keeps sending me IM's (which is annoying because Im actually at work haha) telling me how he just took a percocet shower, ate a percocet lunch, had percocet dreams etc because he picked some up last night. Im probably not going down to see him until Saturday and he's saving me some, but damn if it's not rubbing it in my face now!

Lately, I've also been drinkin on the Schlitz High Gravity Lager. It's nasty as fuck, but it's cheap and 8.5%abv, so it gets you nice and twisted.

Canada does have some good breweries, like unibroue, but bud light is one of the worst beers out there and made by an american company to boot. there is a lot of good beer being brewed in the US, but no budweiser product is even a little bit good.

hey topnotch, schlitz has some good products for being such cheap beer. in my opinion, anyway.

a standard for me when i'm broke is a 40 of schlitz red bull....one of the best malt liquors out there in my opinion....i dont mind drinking it, actually. i think it tastes better than OE and definitely better than steel reserve, but it is a little weaker (only 7.1%ABV i think)

i'd still rather stick with foret or something though, if i could afford it.

Yeah that's the problem. I can't afford much of anything, having lost my job and whatnot, so I gotta go with the cheap but powerful shit if I'm even gonna drink. I don't drink as much beer as I used to though.

I don't know if you've seen it or not, but OE has a high grav lager now at 8.1%, usually $1 for 24oz, so it's pretty much interchangable with the Steel Reserve. They're both nasty, but do the job real quick like.

You can get a 24oz can of Schlitz High Gravity for .85$ at the liquor store I work at. I like that hammer nesta and am thinking about purchasing a new bubbler for myself soon since my old sherlock pseudodouble bubbler has been out of commission since Thanksgiving.

Get some Steel Reserve in the black can and you'll be fukt up as shit after two 24oz cans, and they're only 99 cents each. Or just get a couple of 40oz Colt 45's or Shlitz Malt Liquor Bull. If you want good tasting shit though, talk to nesta or RELAYER, or even Pressed Rat, because I've never had any beer that tastes good.

OK Canada beer sucks, Labat Blue(all i gotta say about that). Beer in ireland is pretty good, but in ireland there are some bad beers, stick to the classics, Harp an guniess(maybe some micro breweries). And lat the BEST beer ever made is in either Germany, Belgium or Holland. They all have some of the best beer in the world and any real beer conosour would know that. bud is a poor/redneck drink, but it stll has alcool in it so ill drink it.
