this is a good question I would like to know too.. i got some codeine 60mg's (but with some APAP i believe) and I havent a clue as to the dosage thats why i havent tried them.

anyone experienced with codeine?

i agree with spens93 on the cold water extraction if you have a bunch of the pills, and given that there is tylenol in them. Other than that I don't know how much codeine you need to get high. You could read trip reports on erowid and people usually list how mg's they took.

i feel that way also...but ive heard that the way they got the name vicodin is that hydrocodone is 6 time stronger than codeine....roman numeral 6=vi + codeine drop the e's and you get vicodin...not sure if thats true cuz i deff feel otherwise, just what ive heard

5mg of oral hydrocodone is equivalent of about 30mg oral codeine. So do the math. I think 150mg+ is an okay starting dose, although I have done about 200 with no real effect. Besides, some people lack the enzyme that's needed to convert the codeine into the actual stuff that gets you high. Anyway, it's all really subjective. You just have to try and see for yourself.
