Since I have done ritalin before, I want to ask a question to people who do it also: How do you deal with the comedown? It kinda blows. Weed didn't work all that well, but maybe a little. It just made me feel weird.

So... advice is nice. Right now I'm coming down and I smoked a little, and now that the ritalin is almost gone I feel better, but it would be cool to avoid the comedown as much as possible.

If you're in school convince your doctor you can't concentrate and you're getting really bad grades because of it... most likely you can get prescribed adderall or ritalin... adderall is much better in my opinion

I didn't feel like posting a thread, because there are enough new ones popping up, and mine is related to speed anyway.

So I took 10mg Focalin (dexmethylphenidate) about 25 minutes ago. So far I like it better than ritalin.

But, I want to know how you guys feel: (favorite, best results)

Cocaine, dexmethylphenidate, methylphenidate, or whatever speed type stuff.
So far adderall has more recreational value than ritalin.

Adderall is amphetamine salts. Amphetamine is by far the best you're going to find in pharmaceuticals. If you're REALLY lucky you can get a Dexedrine prescription which is straight d-amphetamine. 2x as potent as the purest amphetamine you'll find anywhere else. It's extremely fun. These are the speed pills you're looking for.

Dexmethylphenidate is just the D isomer of methylphenidate, therefore it's more potent and cleaner and generally more fun.

Getting ADD medication isn't too hard if you can act, lol.

Well, so I ended up doing another 20mg of the focalin with a freind, and I got this head-rush (due to how excited I got while talking to my roommates on shrooms) that was really great. It felt like I was sorta coming up on oxy but different and speedy.

However... that lasted a good minute or less. Then I felt pretty good (and sorta still do over 1.5 hours later), but the peak barely lasts long at all. The comedown off of 10mg wasn't bad at all compared to 20mg ritalin (or 40mg, yikes). But I have yet to see what the full comedown is off of 20mg.

I just want more of this, or some oxy. I really shouldn't do more pills today, though.

I used to be on ritalin, various doses 3x a day, and the comedown IS pretty brutal.

I use a low dose of opiates to alleviate that oppressive, morning after feeling, which for me always included headaches, sensitivity to light, and and an oppressive sense of negativity and nervousness. Try like 5-25mg of oxycodone (depending on your tolerance) when you wake up and then give yourself another hour or two to sleep in the morning. You should feel 100% on waking up the second time!

so what its like methamphetamine, the L isomer is more or less worthless...and methamphetamine, amphetamine, and methylphedidate are all L and d isomers, but in pihkal shulgin mentions testing r and s isomers with dob and dom and im sure theres prolly others, i know an isomer is an organic molecule with the same exact chemical composition just arraigened in a different order...(i think l and d is a mirror image of each other) but do you or anyone else know what the r and s mean or how the lettering of isomers works?

"Speed" is just a slang word for drugs in the amphetamine category...do you mean amphetamine, methamphetamine, dextroamphetamine, ephedra...?

Adderall is an amphetamine. Other ADHD drugs are alterations of various amphetamines. Desoxyn is the brand name for meth pills here in the states, if that's what you mean. They're by prescription only for ADHD, weight loss, and sleep disorders like narcolepsy. The other option consists of you scoring powdered meth or crystal on the street.

There are technicalities. Adderall is 4 amphetamine salts. 75% D isomer, 25% lame L isomer. Dexedrine is pure d-amphetamine sulfate. No time release salts. You will never find Desoxyn despite it being said that it will be 'prescribed'. It really won't, though technically it can be. Desoxyn is the brand name for d-methamphetamine. The purest shit you will find anywhere EVER. Considering even 99% pure meth on the streets is only 50% d-methamphetamine (street amphetamines are racemic). The D isomer is the one responsible for all the awesome effects. The L isomer of methamphetamine can be found in Vick's nasal inhalers OTC, that's how non-fun it is apparently =P.

Narcolepsy. And no, not even that. Methamphetamine produces far too much euphoria (read: CASCADE of dopamine and norepinephrine) to be an acceptable medication. There are medication's specifically for narcolepsy that aren't as stimulant as amphetamines.

i was reading some experience report on erowid a while back about a guy who got put on probo for meth, and than got a script for desoxyn for add or adhd, than everymonth when his po tested him he failed for meth which was why he was even on probo and the p.o. couldnt do shit about it...lol pretty funny, thats the only case i ever heard of in prescriptions, i work in a pharmacy and we dont even have it in stock...

in 7th grade, i ended up with straterra. lucky me got the only doctor who actually gives that shit out.

but now i've got two ritalin perscriptions from her, so it's straight :)
