so we aRE down in the hole...( thats what we call the apartments down the street, since it is only one way in and one way out )

anyway, we are down there, and my boi Zoe was like KC has got some new smoke...some real good shit... anyway, I'm thinking it was some regular old schwag like we always smoke.

Anyway, when i bought the weed, the guy said it was purple...but i knew it wasn't because...the weed wasn't purple,maybe it was some Dro or something, but it had crystals on it, and no stems or seeds i believe. Man we smoked a blunt, it was a damn good high. We were just so chilled out.

I mean really though, the weed didn't even smell like the same shit we usually smoked, it had like a kind of nasty, different smell, i thought it wasn't even weed at first.

But DAMN it was some good shit. Got a dime bag for 10 bucks, it was a good ass deal.

i mean the strain, i know it wasn't purple because it had no purple tints in it. My friend and my other friend claimed that the smoke coming out of the blunt was like a purplish magenta color..but i think they were just high as hell.

from what i've gathered during my time as a member here, it totally depends where you live. For example, round my parts you either get shwag or "KB".....they don't classify anything inbetween.....they just say its some OK KB. Granted, thats just the commercially available stuff. ;)

Yeah and there are many different stoner denominations with different ideals and different slang. You can usually tell what people are talking about though, by the tone of the post, and it's pointless to knitpick, most of the time.

One thing I really hate though is when someone is describing good weed by saying "dro", as if it means anything aside from the method of cultivation.

Yeah people think that just because they've smoked a whole shit-ton of weed that they know something. Knowing how to smoke and knowing what you're smoking are two totally different things. I don't know much about the different strains of weed I've smoked or anything like that, aside from the fact that it gets me absotively blazed, but I don't pretend to know anything either. I just know that good weed is good weed, and that's all that really matters.

You have it right, except for "haze." Haze is big on the east coast, just like kush is in the west. It's likely an old school haze crossed with bigbud, or something of the like. Grown OD in fla and trucked up to NYC, form there it goes all over. Smells and tastes like inscence, the closest thing to a commercial sativa that you'll find, esp. since it's literally available 365 days a year all over the north east. The quality of it does vary from real nice to elite... I'm not sure if it's all the same cut or different phenos, but it's great weed.

And most of the cali kushes are not actually landraces from the kush mountain range either.... not knocking them at all though.... supreme smoke.

Bro, if it's properly flushed, I'm 100% sure that you would notice no difference between chem grown buds and organics, hydro vs. soil, etc. etc. in either burn or taste.
