I have used a method of crop rotation for years on my vegtable garden and was wondering if anyone heard of or tried what im gona start tring. In my vegtable garden i rotate planting green and wax beans a legume a nigtrogen giving plant than mid season i till it in and plant buckwheat let that live and die and till that in during spring i havent needed to do anything but add lime every year to adjust ph and i plant nutriant pigs like sweet corn i dont see why i couldnt do that with used cannabis dirt to recharge it and reuse it. With worm casting around $20 a bag and guano not much cheaper it would be money saving and eviromentaly benefical if effective

Sounds like a plan! Alot of indoor folk supplement their outdoor garden with the used soil.

You are a good gardener. But I'm not clear. Are you growing indoor and just recharging your indoor soil out in the garden, or are you using the castings and birdpoop as outdoor soil amendments . If you're growing outdoors what works for your veggies will work fine for mj. But make sure your ph isn't sneaking up, legumes like a higher ph than weed, although that may be some conventional BS. If you're under 7.0 or 6.5 you should be fine.
If you plan on reusing the soil inside, realize you may pick up a few hitchhikers from the time outside.

Hey Bob,
The OP was referring to traditional rotation of crops outdoors. The N giving crops and composting (tilling in) sitting over the winter to richen the existing soil. They were just asking if it could be done to organically fertilize the soil prior to herb planting.
I threw things off by mentioning indoors.

been dazed and confused for a while now, it doesn't take much to throw me off anymore.
Heck, I throw all sorts of stuff into my veggie garden, it can't help but improve the clay.
