the words are very true

I would in all honestly say, avoid reading that book if you want to have your mind a little less blown the first time you do lsd

Thanks for posting the article, i found it very interesting. It's a pretty good, bare bones description of the actual process of a death/rebirth ... step by step. It has confirmed many things for me.

I remember that was one of the first books I read on the subject and it literally changed my life. The theory that a drug induced state represented a death and rebirth process for the conceptualized ego was great medicine for me. I use the ideas still to this day. I have seen the clear light many times and beheld it for many moments. The psychedelic experience is not exactly like the book describes but the guidlines and Ideas are very informing as to maintaining and returning from an ego loss experience induce by psychedelic phenomenon. Ayahuasca has thus far been the most ego shattering substance I have used. The morning glory seeds come second by having brought great silencing of the internal dialogue and a sweet release of the ego. LSD used to be king when it was around for me. But with todays new online entheogen medicine. I am in a different place. May all your ego losses bring you great relief and glorious rebirths.

Honestly man, I spent many tries making my own and reading up on everything I could about it. The answers always seem to be found in an obscure article. Jonathan ott recommended 1/3 lemon juice to 2/3 distilled water. Coffee grind your herbs into a powder and bring to a boil 3x using new solution every time. Strain off solution each time through a baking strainer. Gather all 3 strains into 1. Then filter through a reusable coffee filter. simmer down to a 4-8oz solution and refilter.

The death/rebirth explanation in this book is so key to the LSD experience, most people miss this important factor..

Not to mention the re-entry tips;

(Name), Listen:
It is almost time to return.
Make the selection of your future personality according to the best teaching.
Listen well:
The signs and characteristics of the level of existence to come
Will appear to you in premonitory visions.
Recognize them.
When you find that you have to return to reality,
Try to follow the pleasant delightful visions.
Avoid the dark unpleasant ones.
If you return in panic, a fearful state will follow,
If you strive to escape dark, gloomy scenes, an unhappy state will follow,
If you return in radiance, a happy state will follow.
Your mental state now will affect your subsequent level of being.
Whatever you choose,
Choose impartially,
Without attraction or repulsion.
Enter into game-existence with good grace.
Voluntarily and freely.
Remain calm.
Remember the teachings.

Peace :)

The neo-shamanic ayahuasca is made with 3g syrian rue to 20-40g mimosa hostillis rootbark. The original recipe contains 30g B. Caapi to 30-60g P.viridis or D. cabrerana.

Lemon juice doesn't boil off...
I would never want my ayahuasca that acidic.
