Interesting point...but it also feels bad to be ignorant.

Careful with some of these purest orthodox philosophical views - it's really a case by case definition. I liked school alot, mainly because I decided what I wanted to learn and what I did not. Especially in college. I went to all my favourite classes, and skipped the crap ones, and still managed to get through it with passing grades (not flying colours, mind you :P but passing).

But if you hate school because of the school/teachers/students there, maybe try a different school? One that suits you and your zest for life. Learning in itself is usually a fun thing. It's the fucked up school systems and underpaid teachers that ruin it for us with a real zeal to learn.
