i want to be a hippy

hiya!!! im 12 .... i no i no im not sposed to be on here but i want to ask a Q i live in london and go to normol school and live in a normol house.... can i be a hippy i believe in peace and love and equality rights and all that and my class think i am weird coz i like plants and stuff but...CAN I BE A HIPPIE:H :) :butterfly

Of course you can be a hippy young one, we have no rules or membership cards or dues to pay, all you need is a willing mind, a forgiving and loving heart and the willingness to stand up for what you believe in. Never box yourself into a corner thought, check out everything, expand your mind, you will find that not all hippies agree on all the same things, but they will all agree on one thing the right to freedom and to find your own way. Also you must have tolerance of others and what they have to say, check them out also, take everything into account never be narrow minded. So do these things and you will be a superb hippy. And welcome to a new and exciting way of life.
