Isn't that tragic?

What's more, he's having to pay for his own treatment because at 59 he's deemed to be "too young" to get it on the NHS.

it is, unbelievably tragic. i bet a lot of fantasy fanatics' hearts sunk at that news, with mine.

he has such an amazing mind, style, wit. must be horrible to feel that slipping away slowly.

favourite pratchett books?

Mort's my favourite of the Discworld I've read, though admittedly I haven't read all that man. Also really loved Jonny and the Bomb as a kid. Yep, a tragic shame. He says he still has a couple of books left in him, but I can't think of many worse ways to go for such a figure....
