You could make it in your house if you had several hundred bucks worth of equipment and enough of the right chemicals, many of whom are either illegal themselves or you require a license to buy. Not as hard as acid, but defnitly not easy.

so probably not so easy for the average person. you have to be pretty decent at chemistry too from what I hear. its not one of those things where you can read up online for a couple weeks and know how to do.
