probably not... then again, i might try to be nice, but depending on how bad they screwed me over, I might just let them suffer. usually though I'm pretty nice; I've learned that you can make lifelong friends just by being nice to someone who you're not on good terms with.
All and all, I'd say be helpful, unless it may affect you negatively in some way.
