We are having Scout Council at Dog Lake on March 1st &2nd . We will be in contact with NFS on the 3rd to start the Permit Process. WE HOPE TO SIGN The permit the first week of March. This will be the first time here!!!! If all goes well we will put this in rotation ever year!!!! Dog lake is 6ml sw of tallahassee airport. Take Springhill rd SW From tallahassee airport. Take a right on Dog lake Tower rd. go 3ml to dog lake on the right hand side. lots of parking. And alot of love. Bring all good things!!!!

if the water crisis in Atlanta is as bad as they
say, and water is not flowing down river as much
as it used to, maybe there will be more sandbars
than usual along on the Apalachicola river...

Hmmmm....Back in the '90's, when some folks tried to do the Florida Winter Valentine's Day Thing in the Apalachicola NF, the problem, from what I heard, was too much water. Maybe the drought will help site selection. I guess it's not impossible that I might make it down, had hoped to get to Ocala, but doubt doubt I'll have the family...maybe a just a dog.

I just got back from Ocala. We have a few kitchens on there way.WE will be using the new sm. Water tank from Ocala. We have $300 in the Magic Hat!! To go to vegeeeessss.....a lot of left overs coming up from Ocala...TIME TO PACK!
