A simple poem a friend of mine and I composed while under the influence of ecstacy. It was a lot of fun and it was a true co-operative effort between the two of us.

Board Games in the Sky

The wind through her hair,
She took off without worry or care...

PLUMMETING!!!
almost lost her will,
Her mind paced, yet hands still.
Recurring dreams, forever haunt her.

Clouds lashed her ashen face,
Life or death -- it was a race.
Suddenly it all went black,
Senses shut down; under attack.
No way she could ever turn back.

Light again, warning bells tolled
Thought it was her soul she sold.
Coming down from frightful flight
The past was far out of sight.
Grounded reality in Gold Acres.

Home sweet home, safe at last,
But with a whir and a whirl of wheels
A strip of open air she steals,
Engines combust and scream off fast!

Very nice - good use of imagery there, and well done for managing to stick to a rhyme scheme while on ecstasy ;)
