Indian food is really good. My gf LOVES LOVES naan bread!!!
I have had Indian food, I like how a lot of it is just mashed up. All these fablous veggies, spices and herbs all mixed in too, the final product does remind me of baby food almost...but really rich in flavor and perfectly spicey.
I would settle for Thai though.
I can do some Indian/Thai inspired veggie meals.

there is no indian or thai food anywhere close by.we ate some of the most awesome indian and thai food on our cross country road trip... I have been drolling for it since. :(
I'm seriously gonna have a road trip to the BIGcity just for that reason.

I've been to florida. I remember also no Indian food anywhere, you poor thing. I got a chinese take away once while I was there, and it was basically just a cardboard bucket filled with tasteless carbs and a see through sauce that tasted like oil. Man yo food is worse than Hollands! Holland is also terrible for Indian restaurants, but I have discovered a good one recently. I have taught myself to cook actually a little bit, but it is just not the same as the full ruby murray experience is it? poppadums, mango chut, cobra lager, sag paneer. I done good learning but I cannot get that authentic taste.

Nah, I have found a few really good Chinese places around. Some really great mex & Italian places..
I kinda live in the middle of no where.-well as far as Fl goes, can still and hour(or half) in almost any direction and hit a good sized city, and I heard/read they have Indian placs, but haven't got there yet...I haven't found any Thai places tho :( .
There is a raw food place another town over, they have odd hours and I haven't managed to make it there either.

An exotic trio of Indian flavors ( saffron, cardamom, and cinnamon) is breathtaking and sensuous in a western panna cotta. South Indian crab cake with tamarind and lime leaves.

Palak-Paneer please. And salty lassi. Someone take me out.. I'm broke :(
palak paneer is super easy to make
I also made great daal shorba soup
makes a great multi course meal
I used to be a little intimatidated by Indian food (I guess because it is so different from food here and even different from other Asian foods I am used to) but I just tried one day and found it is super easy to make...I can do a half dozen (or more) Indian dishes now...make em yourself, saves so much $$!
