you claim you are the father of the rainbow family... have you ever been to a rainbow gathering? I'm assuming if you spent a year hitch-hiking around the country you've probably been to one, but I just thought I'd ask. The reason I ask, is that it's not a very 'rainbow' concept to consider yourself the leader of the rainbow family... ever heard of the phrase "I'm 14 I do what I want?" The only way I know of to be a leader in the rainbow family is to do a lot of work without trying to take credit for it.

Think about this...

if you want to be a leader, calling yourself a leader doesn't make you a leader. Being a leader makes you a leader.

Calling yourself enlightened doesn't make you enlightened. "enlightenment is no enlightenment"

It seems to me that you are trying to draw attention to yourself... My thought is that humility is an important quality we find in all of the great spiritual beings throughout humanity.

Jesus was a teacher at the age of twelve... but it wasn't untill 18 years later that he came out and taught.

I'm not trying to discourage your adventures on the road... I just hope you'll consider this....

i resent this statement about plugged-in music being noise pollution. the majority of rainbows i meet with acoustic guitars don't know how to use thier own ears and can't tell thier out of tune, playing "incorrect" chords. i play electric guitar in the forrest and i'll NEVER put it down. and anyone who usually feels this way about amplifiers..... well, once they hear me play and see the reaction i get, well they just shut right up. so brother, i don't mean to disrespect your opinion, you allowed to have it and i mine but, don't assume that young people with amplifiers equals noise pollution.
