I know alot of you experts have gone over this many times but indulge me for a minute. what exactly is the difference between indica and sativa? I am going to go online today and order some seeds and want my plants to yield some heady nugs. which should I go for? I will be growing indoors ofcourse.

Indica definetly has a headier couch type stone. Most sativas have more of an uplifting 'high'. Go for the indica if your looking for the heavy stone.
reeferman has a maple leaf indica, may be a bit pricy but at least it is not some crappy hybrid. They also have an herloom chinese indica. At 200 bucks a pack though. Good breeding genetics though, so worth it in my book.

Sativas are long and lanky, while indicas tend to be more stout and bushy.
they both have their + and - , But theyre both good dope.
Sativas are fun, cuz they love getting huge with stacked out buds
If you want a REAL in depth description of both, go to erowid

Indicas are native to mountainous regions around India, and sativas the lowlands.
All things being equal, Indicas generally yield larger buds in a shorter period of time, although a fully grown (outdoor) sativa yields up to 2 or more times the weight of an indica, (in a considerably longer period of time). Indoor, the indica yields a superior amount.
All cannabis plants grown as hemp are sativas.

If you are gonna grow indoors and have limited height, go with the indica, I would reccomend an afghani strain like Hindu Kush, real easy to deal with and a great high. Nice dense buds, easy to clone a real winner IMO:sunglasse
