out of all the drugs you've done, which one were you the most reluctant to try.

the first time i tried e i was reluctant simply because i drank a beer earlier before and was thinking i was gonna die. but i've never been reluctant to try anything i've ever done. also since then i've realised that alcohol and e don't kill you, they just simply don't go together all that well.

i'm sure i would have a hard time deciding to smoke some meth or shoot up heroin, but i'm not one to fall into addiction so easily so i think i could handle those two drugs.

Cocaine when I was around 15, not exactly reluctant to try it but when I blew the first line I felt my heart beat race and I was stoned, and I had heard stories of people dying from coke (though later realized most of them were from mixing with opiates) so I was anxious. Ended up blowing an 8ball with 2 friends that night, I quickly stopped caring :tongue:
I have to admit though, nearly every time I eat some magic mushrooms I am hesitant as to actually eating them and think "Oh just in an hour I will be ready, my stomach hurts bla bla bla" but then end up eating them as soon as possible. As many times as I've tripped on them, that come up gets to me unless I remember to practice yoga.

um, injecting coke was terrifying. I was blowing lines, and thinking that I had the gear, so I was like fuck it and made the shot. But then I got a little worried, because I didn't want to OD and it wasn't like I was around people who'd ever done it so it was all just intuition. But in the end I did it, mainly because I had already made the shot.

And then I kept shooting for the entire night. And the next night. Until I ran out.

And I am NEVER touching cocaine again. Fuck that shit, I'd never fiended in my life and just one shot and the races were on.

Better how? If you mean intensity, then yes. Snorting a line doesn't even come close to the rush of an IV. You feel incredible. They're almost like two different drugs.

But then again, your shot lasts about 15 minutes, 20 tops before you need another. So you spend all night shooting. You do your shot, and then immediately start prepping your next one. Things turn ugly pretty quick. It's a dirty dirty way to do drugs. And then all you think about is how to get more coke. That's when I threw in the towel.

If I had the choice, I would have rather kept that genie in its bottle.

I put definitely most reluctant not to try Meth`...hell no, next to Crack; (which I tried once & wasn`t fond of...very dissapointing). But yeah, if I only pick one to not do, it would be Meth` - heard nothing but bad stuff about that shit.

(Oh....now I get the question...sorry.) The one I was most reluctant about was LSD because I had read some SE Hinton book about someone losing their mind on it. I remember when it started taking effect (and this was very strong LSD) and I looked at my friend and saw his whole face and body melt (kind of like Geneity's signature image), I felt so joyous because I realized there was nothing to worry about and realized what a good experience it was going to be. And, it was a great experience, and has always been since then.

The only thing I was reluctant to try was alcohol. A swig of Jack Daniel's when I was 19 broke an 8-year abstinence caused by a bad experience when I was 12. Since then, I pretty much dove right into whatever I decided I wanted. Even Meth, although the shit i bought didn't seem to do anything. I put the crystals in a cup of coffee, drank it, and nuthin happened. Not eager to try again; I'll stick to prescription uppers as meth is widely available and could fuck me up badly.

I might try heroin one day if it's readily available, and if there's no other opies to be found.

The time I was most scared or hesitant shit this is a hard one it has to be a tie between the first time I did a line of coke or the first time I droped a hit of LSD, I just turned 16 the first time I tripped on LSD and boy was I scared befroe this point the only drug I had ever done was weed and all I keep thinking about was the horror stories and urban legends I heard about LSD. But that scary feeling endeed real dam quick my first trip was a blast and the best trip I ever had buy far not the hardest or most intense but buy far the most fun. I'm the type to plan my experiences in advance, learn everything I can about a drug before trying it, and never felt nervous about trying anything.

The first drink I had was by accident. I was at church and drank the wine instead of the grape juice, and remember being a little tipsy. I was 9yrs old. Got kind of burned out from binge drinking in college. Now I hardly ever drink anything besides beer. Tried pot first when I was 19 in college..didn't hesitate when I tried it, but the first 4-5 times I felt nothing from it...and now I smoke it so much I hardly feel anything anyway. Did shrooms, DXM, and a few shitty legal drugs too. Kinda switching to pain killers and benzos right now. So I kind of go through phases and get bored easily of the same drug.

I don't find anything addictive...I just seem to do a lot of one drug, get burned out, then move on to something different. Besides, I don't always want to feel fucked up.. Sometimes sobiety is better than being high (yes rarely, but sometimes).

I was most reluctant to do acid, and it turned out with good reason too. At first it went fine, except for one experience I had: I was getting ready to go to a concert, and wanted to trip at the concert; so took it before I left the house. Only thing is, I didnt time it right, and instead of the shit kicking in once I got to the concert; it kicks in when I'm driving down the highway! scared the crap out of me, but I got to the concert ok.

What made me never do acid again was a experience that scared the shit out of me, I think it was either a bad hit; or it was actually badly made PCP. I had some of those sparkly/tinsely stringy things you put on a christmas tree hanging up in my bedroom, and the damn things looked like they were bending upwards; and shit looked like it was coming out of my TV! I luckily managed to calm down by reading a book and turning off the TV, guess I should have known there was a reason I was so hesitant to try it :)

In about 1970- right before the war I moved to the harder drug scene- , I was drawn to Quaaludes (the 714s, that are now out of circulation & I began to experiment with with heroin. While drinking alcohol & taking a few benzos ,I was slowly becoming a mess.
EVen though the Army did a battery of tests, somehow I was fit for service. So in late 1970-whatever drug problem I was moving too was temporarily put on hold.
Well 'while doing my duty like a good young stupid kid I discovered that heroin is everywhere- So I carefully picked my days that I could get away with a little dope & of course weed
Upon return to the world in 71, I became a heroin addict in no time
Now on methadone for many years, my life is as normal as can be
