Alprazolam making me dehydrated

Is this normal? I seem to empty out gallons of liquid with Xanax. I just get immensely thirsty.

I think that's an uncommon side effect.

hmm.. interesting. I seem to always get the uncommon or rare side effects with medicine. does this happen to anyone else.. the thirsty thing?
