how do you avoid ingrown hairs and bumps and irritation best? ive started using a mens razor and only using it twice before i dispose of it so its not too dull... i have really sensitive skin though.

I was debating waxing, but i dont know how to find a salon that waxes... i guess i just have to call and ask (though it sounds so painfull!)

HELP! haha

The way to avoid ingrown hairs is:

1. Don't shave too finely in the areas you're prone to ingrowing hairs - use a blunter razor perhaps, or don't go over and over, just shave it lightly

2. Pulling the skin tight while you shave can cause ingrowing hairs. Like, for men, if you get ingrowing hairs under your chin, don't lift your head up so high when you shave there, let the skin stay relaxed. Otherwise, the hair you've shaved may be pointing at an unusual angle and letting go of the skin afterwards curves it back into the skin.

Never shave it always wax or use a depliatory. Any spa will do it and most places that do eyebrows will do it. I used to get waxed but the pain was just too much and you had to let it grow out a little before you could get waxed again. the depliatories are great just get a good one-not one from the drug store.

yes but ONLY on your outer skin and then if you want to or need to just trim the inside. I only do the outer because I am afraid of cutting my self.So that Veet stuff is totally safe to use down there? I thought about trying that but was afraid of using dibilatories
