I REALLY can't believe that's a true story. Does anyone know if this man was released or got his sentence reduced?

I feel bad for this man and his family. I couldn't imagine how evil that judge must have been to put a man who is treating his MS and other chronic pain with oxycodone when he is prescribed it.

Fucking sick world.

Nope, trafficking oxycodone comes with a 25-life sentence in most places (I'm pretty sure)

What a nightmare for that guy. Its great that he was finally pardoned. It is completely ridiculous that the government locked him up in the first place, just goes to show how screwed up the system is.

Now that Mr. Paey is a free man, I hope he gets a good lawyer and sues that prosecuter into the next millenium. Good for Govenor Crist!

(I wonder if the prison let him keep his pain pump)

I doubt the prison would let him keep his pain pump because he got busted for "trafficking".

I'm glad he got out, but still... He spent 3 years in there for NO REASON!
