several years ago i had a boyfriend who had committed suicide a few months after we broke up. (his choice had to do far more about other stuff going on in his life rather than us breaking up, but we did end badly and i was overcome with guilt)
a few months after he died i did a bunch of shrooms home alone and sat in a room i had made pretty much into a shrine to him that i prayed obsessively in since he died. all i remember was this overwhelming and opressive presence suddenly swoosh into the room. it had me in the fetal position crouched in a corner begging him to leave. the guilt tore me apart--but after that i realized that the guilt was pointing out all the ways that i failed him as a friend--and i have never repeated that mistake again. it taught me my flaws and it made me a better person...a better friend. since i've dealt with "my shit" i have had hauntings since...but this time happy and beautiful.
my question is, anyone here have an experience with the soul of a deceased loved one with the help of psychedelics?
