Well...it's not quite cave paintings, but this week to keep my self out of my head durring this intense moontime I've been busy busy, pouring my heart out into these fabric creations.

This first skirt took 25 hours of love just to get the fabric together so I could cut out the pattern. Lol, I almost trashed it because it was so rough, but I think it came together very nicely and it just makes my heart sing to look at it. I simply adore the glints of sparkle and the rich colors and textures. If I could eat it I would lol, it fills me so completely!!

There are eight patchy panels with organdy ribbon along the bottom and eight silk, sequined godets:) made for spinning in style ;) or a hippie wedding.

This festival frock is butterfly brocade and....shimmery blue...something, lol, can't remember the name of it but it is gorgeous with the sparkely blue butterflies (they are my favorite ones ;) )

I love how colorful and so full of sparkley vibrant textures your creations are :)

Dang, that hippie wedding twirling gown is high class, in the royal elvish kinda way.

Mmmm thank you Rugged Elegance. It is made to last. I think I fall in love with it over and over:) I could see our clan all decked out in these chillin and twirling out by the gypsy wagon parked out by the grove stage...having a royal elvish wedding celebration:)

The skirt is just decadent...and it is mostly recycled pants. I am just giddy with my chordoroy haul. It was just torture to have to get through remodeling Jessies room knowing all that chord was there waiting to become this skirt...

Oh my goodness, that is just gorgeous! I love your style, well done. A lady would instantly feel like the Queen of the Tuatha De Danaan in that!

Why thank you:) glad you like, though I dunno what this is, lol 'Queen of the Tuatha De Danaan' it sure sounds real cool.

Festival garments are so much fun. There is such a broad freedom for expression at them, akin to theater.

The Invitation

Oriah Mountain Dreamer

home page (http://www.oriahmountaindreamer.com/)

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shrivelled and closed from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, or fade it, or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself. If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty even when it is not pretty every day. And if you can source your own life from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand at the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, 'Yes.'

It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the children.

It doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the centre of the fire with me and not shrink back.

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

Thank you Andrew, you made my morning!

This life is truely an exquisite adventure!

I loved that book, I listened to it back in the summer and now I want to get it again.

well my hearts longing has nothing to do with human socialness but i certainly do dare to dream of it, constantly.

little, twisty, diverse, and creative, of, in, everything and surrounding us to create and explore.

forest and cave and trains and gardens and even little 'houses' to live in, each a unique expression of a different diverse one of us.

(what i'm NOT interested in are the conventionalities of rectangular roman grids and making everything be about little green printed pieces of symbolic value, and stuffing them in anyones pockets under the delusion of somehow binnifiting what i am. not that i begrudge anyone having to pay rent and eat regular, its just that these are two different things, and perpetuating a world that's about making eating and living be about symbolic value is that world of rectangular roman grids that is the antithisis of natural creative diversity that sanity, good sense, and a clear conscience requires.)

Indeed, magical landscapes filled with environmentally beneficial and energy radiant dragon solar scaled caverns etched with crystal veins of communicative clarity :)

Yes, I'm sure that was powerful, I'd love to her the audio-book with Oriah speaking, I'm sure she tells her stories with so many vocal nuances.
