Does any one believe that after these 2 chemists were busted that any one has attempted to fill their shoes at the same scale "or" do you believe that lsd will never again be manufactured at the same scale because of the DEA. Do you also believe that because of the lengthy sentence that the chemist recieved would clearly intimidate the future lsd chemists from even consider producing lsd at such a large scale. I would like any ones opinion.

God no, anyone who can make LSD will (or at least should) never discontinue producing it. There isn't much of it in this city as it is, we need all the suppliers that we can get. We're lucky to get some every 3 or 4 months, and then it's expensive as hell.

I dont think lsd is going to be around much longer. People are more into harder drugs these days. Its too risky to make and too hard to make.

There may be none around my city, but in Toronto I know 3 chemists, who each make a preimum batch each time. LSD will forever be around.
FOREVER.

I dont think lsd is going to be around much longer. People are more into harder drugs these days. Its too risky to make and too hard to make. Many people making/selling LSD are not doing it for the money. They are doing it because they want to share LSD with the world. This is why LSD will never die.

Unfortunatlly not everyone thinks like we do, I know a chemist who produces pinpoint LSD for about $1,200.00 a page, and he has never taken a hit in his life. Needless to say, he could pay his bills just by producing LSD, and he doesn't do it to share it with the world.

LSD had always been a tight-lipped "share the love" community. that all changed in the past decade as the money-grubbing mentality and the snitch mentality from other drugs has invaded the acid community. the Kansas dudes were caught because of a snitch, and in turn they did some snitching. todays higher prices are due to a deliberate marketing decision by today's greedy distributors and dealers.
no one will distribute acid on a grand scale until they can trust their "family".

If they ever do legalize LSD in Russia, I hope it will get from the medics to society like ketamine does in America.

i understand the inflation, why sell acid when you can sell x for so much more and it has alot higher demand, thats why its so dry everywhere. i couldnt find it in a long time but got lucky and took a hit of liquid last night at a rave.

$1200 per page doesn't sound that bad. That's 1000 hits, right? That means two people can double their investment and it will still end up in someone's hands for $5 per hit.

That means two people can double their investment and it will still end up in someone's hands for $5 per hit.Getting rid of 1000 hits will take a while. LSD is not addictive and people generally do it once, and wait a while before doing it again. Some people dont, and some people only wait a week, However I think most people wait longer on average. The average person who wants LSD may only want 2-10 hits a month
Where as with E a person may do 2-10 hits one day, and the next, and the next, and the next. Or with cocaine a person may do $800 in a night. Lots more profits... and easier to get.
I have never done cocaine, or E. So my numbers could be a little off.

Whiskers wtf? I disagree. All of the scheduled drugs have a potential to make vast profit, that is why they are scheduled. For some people, getting rid of 1000 hits is a matter of visiting a college campus for an hour or two. Just as for some people getting rid of an ounce of coke is as simple as visiting the slum for an hour or two.

Yeah, I think I could get rid of 1000 hits no problem haha. It would probably take longer than a couple of hours, but there is plenty of demand, and if I could get it for a dollar a hit, I would sell sheets for $200-$300 and it would fly out the door.
holy shit they had 91 pounds of LSD now that is amazing well i would love to someday produce that much LSD but never to sell it i would do it for fun and for personal fun lolz but 91 pounds is alot i think they should be remembered as the great men that they were producing that much of a substance that everyone loves but only the DEA hates so much for haveing a democracy huh they say we have a democracy but it is not so we have an indirect democracy in which we ellect people to make the decisions not we ellect the decisions i think america would be better off with a direct democracy but alas it is not to be america's DEA knows that if they gave the power to the people we would be up to our necks in LSD 2C-b 2C-T-7 and other wonderful substances those men will have my respect for what they did i dont think it is right for them to be considered criminals i think they are visionaries

I read in another article that the 91 pounds thing included a bunch of stuff that wasn't really LSD (like some of the tarnished equipment, precursors, etc.). Absolutely no way that they had 91 pounds of crystal. I'm sure they had quite a bit, though.

^^You are correct. They really only had about 7 onces, the rest is b.s. hype from the gov't (or lies, for a better word). Here is link to the article on it - http://www.slate.com/id/2114793

Can you guys imagine getting life in prison for manufacturing LSD? That would really suck. I guess it's better than getting life for something like murder, but life is pretty fucking excessive for the production of a non-addictive drug.

if i had 1000 hits at $1.20 a hit they would be gone in a day and I'd have $3,000

Unfortunately if for some reason just one of those 1000 transactions goes wrong or you are caught, you are looking at 10 years in jail plus a few hundred thousand dollars in legal costs.....
