Three medical marijuana clubs in Northern California lost their final appeal in their war against a federal court injunction banning them from providing medical marijuana to state-sanctioned, and legal patients. Another blow from our federal government against sick, weak people.

Cheney and Bush should be ashamed of themselves, not only have they destroyed our country's economy, they have weakened the military, denied health insurance to children, taken away almost all public assistance benefits for poor people, but have also waged a continuing WAR against sick people by denying them a proven-to-be-safe highly-effective plant as medicine.

The Oakland Cannabis Buyers' Cooperative, Marin Alliance for Medical Marijuana and Ukiah Cannabis Buyer's Club were the victims of a U.S. Justice Department civil lawsuit against them. The Compassionate Use Act of 1996 allows licensed medical doctors to provide recommendations to their sick patients which gives them suppposed protection under law against just this type of activity.

However, the federal government does not recognize the California law as being valid.

The "high" court says that federal law doesn't allow an exemption for medical patients.

When will all you medical patients and users get up and demand your rights!?

I'm sure the prosecution went out for a drink after this.

Its sickening... something more harmless than aspirin with considerable benefits made into satan himself because some people want more power.

Its not even about money anymore, money isn't important... these people have more money than most cities.

What can we do to stop this insanity?
