I have been getting really bad tension headaches lately for the past month or so and I get them like 3 or 4 times a day. If I go to the doctor what do you think they'll give me for pain? Will they make me do a bunch of stupid cat scans and MRI's before they prescribe me something? Does anyone know if they even prescribe narcotics for headaches?

I know people who've gotten painkillers for frequent migraines. But they had a long history of debilitating headaches.

Fioricet is great for migraines. For insanly bad ones I have gotten a Nalbuphine shot. I have noticed both work very well.
