still water reflects moons twinkle moving into the perfect angle
lose yourself in the first tunnell you see
ray into my squint, so sensitive to my strain
ever looking once weve seen
fear the tiny bug, fe fi fo fum
stars so uncommon in the shadow cast over the world
mishapen perfection reaches to the sky in its given captive space
dog howls for answers in the dark of night
silence consumes the unseen world
peeked behind the curtain before shit got real uncertain
connection so strange, is it in my range?
so much more beyond the door
can we reach for the handle from the floor?

awake child,
from the comfort of your covers,
from the safety of your dream,
to see the harsh realities move back into place,
like a secret door beyond a bookshelf,
filled with experience and memory which no one else know,
unlock the the door of secret,
to the underground where the mad scientist conducts expirments,
on the nature of things and the human spirit,
be as if dropped from outer space,
go to the book of now as if you were just born,
celebrate the death of imprints that tied you so tightly,
free, to go any way you see the wind blow,
to match the shaped way of your best line of work,
finding that which takes me back there,
like a needle in a haystack scare

see myself in everything
every turn in the rama movie
flowing everything together
with focus on point
fearfull intermissions between circus acts of bravery
bright colorful lights illuminating the 3 rings
seemingly simple secrets to perception
seeing things for what they are
for just a small fraction of the movie
but its the same trip thats holding me down
know what i gotta do
but how do i embrace this on the way?

Some Very haunting thoughts you've expressed here, Fractual. Very Haunting and extremely insightful.
Your words remind me of my own youth... spent in looking for myself. My mom contantly remarked; "What do you mean you're looking for yourself? You're right there!"
She's passed now and I find that, what I thought was an unenlightened view and oh, too simple... is oh, so true. I'm right here... just where I've always been.
Good word/thought work... I will read them again.

its been a pretty haunting trip to some degree though sam. yeah, being here now is a very simple concept when you think about it, but acting on its a little trickier than it sounds...

Geezie Peezie, Fractual! I am so sorry you got published without your knowledge. I didn't do it. Don't know who did. But, for the record... that's why I'm such an avid user of the 'edit' button on all of my replies. One never knows, do one?
I figure... if you're going to take the time to say something on the web, you might as well take the time to make sure that you've used the correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. It's not an ego thingee with me, but if I'm quoted, at least when my words appear from others... I'll not come off looking like I have no command of the English language.

you may be onto something, but one would think you could just be open and trusting and not have to worry about things 'round these forum parts... its all good though, i am going to call them tommorow when their office is open and see what i can do

My fave is the one "and last night".
But wasn't me either, don't do things with others work less they ask me to.
Alot of stuff is copywrited also and you have to be careful copying some things and using them.
I am going to look into copywriting my artwork when I auction it.
I don't mind sharing but wouldn't want anyone to copy it then claim it as their own.

My oldest son is in Chattanooga helping his mother and her current "friend" set up a web site for selling their art, both literary & visual. Ya'll should see their home, it looks like a hippie museum. Maybe I'll get some pictures and post'm. Anyway here's THE place to start on copyrighting, hope it's of some help: http://www.copyright.gov/register/
Peace, your friend,
