guilt and regret are just society trained ways of controlling you. you knowing that you're doing something that is going to make you feel bad means you need to talk to someone who won't judge, won't add to the spiral by making you feel guilty for harming yourself or people you love. but no guilt or regret. change and health are far more effective. guilt just makes you go back for more, because "obviously i'm a bad person." fuck that shit. you are NOT.
