Would you give up your own life for someone you considered evil?

of course not... but what are you getting at?

is this some sort of self defense question? if someone was trying to kill me i would kill them first if that was the only way to prevent my own death. the killer knows that his life might be at risk when he tries to kill me - in some way he is giving me permission to kill him.

why would someone want to give their life for someone they considered evil? seems like a loaded question.

I THINK what he meant by it was if anyone could leave their opinion aside to save the life of a person. After all thinking someone is evil is something subjective, I'm not sure if this is what he meant though, but that's how I interpret it.
Im completely sure I wouldnt do that. If you think someone's evil, you have a natural reaction to repel this person, so how could I give my life to save them?

if you think that someone is evil you are probably very sure of yourself and probably would not consider it an opinion but rather an observation.

I still dont think I could or anyone could do that for all that matters.

Do any of y'all believe in an afterlife, where we're judged for our actions on earth?

I doubt it. But it would depend - if the fate of many others depended on it perhaps I would - but otherwise I don't think so. But who is evil? That's what I wonder......

If I thought someone was evil, I would probably wish them dead before giving my life to save them. But in reality, I don't think anyone is completely evil so I'd probably just leave them alone.
