I am involved in a case with the State of Texas, and one of the things that they are holding against me is that I smoked Marijuana earlier this year that was given to me in Denver, CO. The lawyer didn't believe that marijuana users would just "give" someone two joints, and indicated that the judge wouldn't either. So, in an effort to poll those who do smoke, I have a question, please answer yes or no. And, thank you for your opinion. The more answers I receive, either yes or no, will better establish what happens normally in this country.

Based on your knowledge and experience, do Marijuana users commonly share Marijuana with other people who use Marijuana, with a gift of two joints being a normal, acceptable quantity to give to someone as a gift?

Thanks again! I could just bring answers in from here, but I would rather have all of the answers that I bring to court be from Yahoo rather that somewhere that could further incriminate me to being the pothead that I am. :-)

I voted. Good luck. Its ridiculous that the courts will make an assumption when they know nothing on the topic.

I doubt the court will take anything you say seriously. Especially from fellow "pot smokers." But I still voted "yes" in your "poll." I use the yahoo answers website all the time. :)

a poll on yahoo is almost definitely not going to be permitted to be presented as valid evidence of something, especially something like this. i'd be surprised if the judge didnt laugh at the stoner with a yahoo poll claiming frantically that it proves its possible he didnt pay for his pot.

i'd expect a 38 year old to know better....but then again with some of the judges around these days, who knows. i guess it may be in their discretion....

i can't see a respectable judge allowing it, though.
