sounds like a vision of a rainy day in a crowded city...surrounded by many umbrellas protecting people from the frigid rain. this could have a hidden meaning of protecting yourself from the cold world with "the twirling umbrellas" of your soul...but im not sure if thats how you meant it to be interpreted.
