High Creativity, teehee

First post but uber familiar with forum, anyways... Iv'e found that I am extra perceptive to creative ideas when high, not stoned mind you. What about you guys, play music?, write?, paint? For me its the writing and the ideas just flow. Like I'l read a word or see a picture and all of a sudden a fully formed idea just "Pops" in the ol' noggin. Heres an example, the end of larger poem of mine.


I felt the fungus consume me
Opening the doors all around
Inviting all to see and all to own
My mind is taken...and I become alone

But I did not grope for long
A hand met mine
And my eyes closed in slumber
So I may rest and then dream

Dream of what is and what will
Dream of me and of you
Dream that I may awaken
But dreaming I am still

i agree to an extent. i go to art school, and sometimes i'll light up before i tackle a project....my work usually comes out being more imaginative or forms a composition from a more creative viewpoint that i might not think of otherwise.
