new to growing

This is my first post so if I fucked up on something my badd. I have grown once before and everything was going good for the first couple weeks, got em germinated and all that, but then these little mite like things started popping up everywhere, so i didnt think anything of it just kept growing it and all was going good then my mom found my 3 plants and threw it out like it was nothing.

So my questions are like whats the best way to germinate, best place to grow indoors, best soil and nutrients to use, how do i tell the difference between m/f, best ways to get killer quality.
