The Hardest Goodbye

To the one who was my shoulder, the one that was my all,
you dried my tears of sorrow, made sure to be there when I called,
the one who used to say forever, but forever would not begin,
the one who walked away, when you said you were my friend,
the one who left me empty, when you promised to make me whole,
the one who can live, like we never were one at all
I envy your emotion, so cold and so descrete,
for my heart still cries for you, still holds you in it's beat,
To the one who made me laugh, and unkowlingly makes me cry,
I nid you a fair a do, for now this is goodbye.

i'd have a lot to critique about things that are just my personal opinion, but i wont. i like the emotion in this poem and i can also identify with it, i like it alot

thank you guys for the compliments...that means a lot to me...it relfect on a person I want know part of but goes on my mind a reminder of the hurt he put me through....happy to say though i am a married woman with 3 beautiful daughters
