First Grow. Definate female. Leaf problems. I have pics.

Ok. This is my first grow and I have a simple set-up. I am using three 65 watt grow lights and a frow bulb in a hood that I purchased from Wal-Mart. I am growing in Miracle Grow soil and using Miracle Grow fert. My plant has always seemed to be doing pretty good. I cut my lights down from 24 on to 6 on to sex and I saw her first two hairs today right on the top of her. Now my problem is my leaves seem to be curling under and drying out on the edges and eventually dieing. I don't want her to have probs. now so what should I do??? Also can I cut her lights back up and let her grow now or should I just let her bud. I would be happy with an eighth at this point lol. Help me out guys here are a few pics. without even looking at the pics an jus from wot ive read in these forums mirical grow is a weed growers devil with a capital D ive no expirence in it tho as ive never used it but from wot ive read many hav failed using said product

couldn't see the pics but it sounds like it could be a mixture of soil and pH problems. The only decent Miracle Grow soil to use is the Miracle Grow Organic Choice. I use the MG organic choice quite often, but i add a few things to it. I throw in some dolomite lime, blood and bone meal, and perlite. You can pretty much use that mix almost all the way till the end without using any additional nutrients. In late flower i use a mix of fox farm grow big and tiger bloom, to supply the last bit of needed nutrients. But alot of people don't like going through the hassle of mixing soil and figuring out problems with miracle grow.

Now onto the water, what kind of water are you using to water your plants? If the pH is anywhere out of the 6.5-7.2ish range in soil, things can go awry quickly. If you are just using tapwater than i suggest either doing the DIY Mr. Clean autodry water filter mod, or just going to a supermarket and buy gallons of distilled water.
