I pondered this latest developement
Of course I knew the value was hollow
This was meant to be an expirement
Only words,no pressure
Safety in disembodied indifferance
Somehow that failed me also
Too quick to trick the mind
Lessons will be learned when values are sacrificed
Silly little girl
Acceptance can't always be sloughed off for sanity
It's so deeply carved into our subconscious
The first time he left was hell
But how can rejection spawn in such a shallow pool?
Violent body convulsions of shakespearean proportions
Tears to drown small villages
And leave terrified widows in their wake
Were they too so daft to think their emotions unique
Building up safety nets consists of years in the pit
Not half-hearted attempts in controlling dramatic immaturity
The second time left a hole more primal

Who settles for wimpy mediocraty
