What's your Blessing?

how are you blessed? i have a special talent for finding 4-leaf clovers. this year i have found 18 4-leaf clovers and 4 5-leaf clovers since the end of march. a few of them i've lost, some i pressed in my big art history book, but most i've given away to friends and strangers. i've always had an exceptional knack for finding them, but never so many as this year! why i found 6 today just going out for a walk!

here are my secrets for finding 4-leaf clovers, for those who have the inclination to search for them:

you have to look. that means you have to be willing to reach out with your attention and make a conscious effort to notice your surroundings.
you have to see, which is not the same as looking. looking is reaching out, seeing requires attentiveness, and being open and receptive to what your senses are telling you about the world arount you. seeing both requires and creates awareness.
don't expect anything. you do not find 4-leaf clovers by trying to find 4-leaf clovers. it's like the tao.
be grateful, whether you find anything or not. the "luck" isn't in the clover. it is the awareness and the experience of looking and seeing that is the blessing.
(*ahem* all of the secrets for 4-leaf clovers can also apply to your fellow human beings.)

I'm amazed i'm the first person to answer this lovely thread.
let me say that I think all people that have a safe place to sleep and regular food in their bellies are blessed as these are two aspects of living that many many people in the world don't have.
i am blessed for many reasons in the last few years ive been developing a stronger and stronger relationship to the divine in the form of the goddess and like the four or five leaf clover all you have to do to get to know the divine is to ask and really see.
i am blessed because i have many lovely people around me that i love and that love me.

I am blessed once by having a wonderful person in love with me, but that's much more common than other blessings.
I am also blessed for unlucky things (and most lucky things) are lucky for me. Not an Oct B-day but opals are lucky. 13 is my lucky number and my luckiest day is Friday (my all time luck then would be Friday the 13th), black cats are luck and nothing bad has ever happened when I either go under a ladder or visit graveyards at the witching hour on a full moon.

My blessing is my husband who is the smartest most intelligent man I've ever met. I could go on and on about so many wonderful things about him but I won't. My children who I absolutely adore.

I feel blessed that my life has made a turn for the better and that I'm enjoying my life. I'm learning to like myself. That in its self is a blessing.

well anyway no ones been posting in this thread recently, I'm going to say that I feel blessed because I have good friends, one friend was on the phone with me for about an hour last night when I was upset.
I also feel blessed because I feel like i'm finally getting my anxiety under some type of control.
I feel very blessed to have been able to open the transexual forum on here, and the chances and oppertunites this place has given me.
I feel like I have grown and developed with many of the people on here and for that I feel very honored

my talent is being able to vibe out what would help a person in terms of their health. sometimes it works, sometimes not though

i'm blessed in many many ways. my kid is the happiest, most enthusiastic, curious child that i've ever known. even though he has a bit of autism, other kids and people seem to be drawn to him. it's really cool to be a part of his universe

i'm blessed that i have so much freedom in my life right now. i dont really feel like there's anything holding me back. when i was with my ex, i always felt like i couldnt progress. now i dont have a 'ball and chain' weighting me down. i'm free baybee! :)

ps, i've considered myself to be a bit of a kitchen witch for over a decade. i changed my member title thing back though, it was wierd not seeing ~only love prevails~ beside my name

I feel very blessed at the moment, I feel like I am finally moving forward with my career, and that I am gaining more confidence and have things to look forward too

i'm really good at reading people and putting myself in their shoes. mainly in person, though. being the perennial new kid, as well as household diplomat, it behooved me to know what's going on with people, what mood they're in and such. body language is everything. and i've learned that the scariest bullies are frequently just angry people wanting to be heard. but they don't want to be pigeon-holed any more that anyone else. sometimes just giving them an ear and no judgement can turn them into really good friends. though it helps if at first you treat them like cornered, injured animals. which, in the greater sense, they really are.
