What exactly are drum circles? There is one every monday real close to my house, and I want to go to them, but I dont know what to expect. Do I have to bring a drum, or can I just come and watch? I have seen some on internet videos and they seem really cool. So, basically I want to know what they are like.

Go and watch, but If you go without one you will want one eventually. Once you start drumming with other folks you'll never want to stop...

I wish there were drum circles in my area you lucky duck, don't let such a sweet

opportunity pass you by! http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/newsmilies/willy_nilly.gif
Basically a drum circle is just a bunch of people getting together and jamming out, doesn't matter how much talent you do or do not have. I'm sure they'd be happy to have somone just come and watch if you do not feel comfortable drumming... but I do recommend that you take a instrument of some sort... it does not have to be a drum. I always take my Pan flute to drum circles and am welcomed with opened arms :)
