Anyone else read this? I've just finished it; it's really clever, funny, touching and innovative. A sort of modern fable:) An excellent modern novel, highly recommended!
It is a great book. Really easy to read. I kinda thought of it as a robinson crusoe, only exploring spirituality and philpsophy. clever and interesting.

Yes, certainly Robinson Crusoe, and I thought of Gulliver's Travels too; it also plays with the fiction / reality thing like those two early novels did. It's really well written, warm and quirky.

Great book. I think all religious literalists should give it a read to learn about allegory.
Just three people here read the book ?
And I am not even from UK.

I've read it a couple of times, but each time I re-read it, it's almost like I've never read it before. You catch new things and gain new insight each and every time. I do, at least
