Hardly anyone mentions Nanny and the Professor. :) The theme music for that show had a very 60s ring to it.

Here are a bunch I used to watch...mostly from when I was a kid.....
Howdy Doody
Just bought a couple DVDs, early ones were really bad, guys stepping in front of the cameras, Howdy falls down alot, etc.
Captain Kangaroo
Bob Keeshan was Clarabelle on Howdy Doody for awhile.
Fury
A boy and his horse, who played his father?...I should know that.
Combat
Very good show, I'd love to buy these DVDs but they're too expense. Vic Morrow was in this show, He was killed later making the Twilight Zone movie.
Twilight Zone
Such good writing, only the best of the best.
Wonderful World of Disney
The early shows were best.
Ed Sullivan
I have the complete shows that the Beatles appeared on.
Lassie
Remember the early Lassie before Timmy?
Leave it to Beaver
Ozzie and Harriet
Ahh, the Nelsons; Rick was the first teen idol ever! Too bad he was killed in that plane.
I Love Lucy
Jungle Jim
Johhny Weismuller after his Tarzan movies.
Studio Wrestling
Local show. Start of the WWF or whatever it's called now.
Sky King
Penny was hot! Sky King would fly his plane out of his ranch to rescue people and such.
Rawhide
This is where Clint Eastwood got his start.
Wagon Train
Star Trek was modeled after Wagon Train, a wagon train to the stars.
Davey Crockett
Everybody had to have a coonskin cap!
Mayberry RFD (Andy Griffith Show)
Andy's Gang
I had to look this one up. Andy Divine would read stories from a book. I remember Gunga Ram, the Indian kid.
Kookla, Fran, and Ollie
N- e -s -t -l -e -s Nestles makes the very
best....Chaaaauklet!
Mickey Mouse Club
Were the Hardy Boys stories on here?...no it was Spin and Marty.
Hyway Patrol
With Broderick Crawford always speeding around in those fifties cars.
The Millionaire
He gave out million dollar checks to people.
The Honeymooners
Annie Oakly
With Tad and that sheriff dude.
Lone Ranger
Hi Ho Silver! He never shot anyone, just their guns. And poor Tonto was always getting beat up.
Rin Tin Tin
Ho Rinny!
Wanted Dead or Alive
Steve McQueen started here, well written show.
One Step Beyond
Not as good as The Twilight Zone.
The Rifleman
Hardly ever shot his rifle either.
Have Gun Will Travel
These were good shows, I have a few, including the first showing how Paladin got started.
Adventures of Superman
And the Fleischer superman cartoons. There was a movie out awhile ago about George Reeves' mysterious death.
Amos n Andy
Try and find these now! Hilarious, but expense and they don't dare show them on TV today.
Burns and Allen
George used to watch what Gracie was doing on his magic TV.
Many Loves of Dobie Gillis
Bob Denver (Gilligan) was the beatnik Maynard G. Krebbs, Warren Beatty was a rich snob, and Tuesday Weld was the good looking babe.
Ding Dong School
Can't remember much about this one, one of the first kid shows.
Father Knows Best
Hotel de paree
I think this western had a guy with mirrors around his hatband that he'd blind people with in a shootout.
Swamp Fox
This may have been a Disney show.
Sgt. Preston of the Mounties
He always got his man.
Death Valley Days
I used to watch it before Reagan took over, the old ranger was host.
Sugarfoot

A boy and his horse, who played his father?...I should know that.
Peter Graves, who was later on Mission Impossible. I always liked Peter Graves, because he could be my father's identical twin. It was uncanny.
The only old series I'll watch, even though it's not really that old, is "Dharma and Greg". I laugh my ass off at that show, especially the crazy in-laws. There are many episodes on YouTube.
It's also funny how a lot of the old shows that seemed so great at the time, don't seem so great now. Even MASH and Cheers, as much as I loved them at the time, aren't as funny to me now. I'm getting old.
