I really don’t think you can grow organically indoors.

I only grow outdoors and my pot is organic, buzzey and sweet. I use compost for nutrients and ladybugs for pest control. You are on the right track by using florescent bulbs you can even use florescent tubes during flowering. I don’t like halogen bulbs because they put out a pulse that can be detected with special equipment plus they can be a fire hazard. You can get rid of some of the pot smell by directing it into the sewer system. Cheers!

You can grow organically indoors. You need to prepare a real good soil mix though. Look for a book by BOG and another by SOMA. Worm castings, bat gauno. etc.

Halogens are not for growing. Metal Halide and HPS are the way to go. They are not really a fire hazard IF you take proper care and precautions during setup and operation.
