Depending on where you live, just the water crashing down would be enough to kill you on impact.

Yeah, it's probably going to be a rough decade in general.

Scary enough, I had a dream, or a nightmare if you want to call it that, about this. I live on Long Island, right along the east coastline. So if it happens, I am pretty screwed without any sort of warning issued out.

The dream began in my house, where I was walking around normally when all of a sudden water crashes through my home, filling up and streaming through. I struggle to a window, struggle with it to open it, break it... and then I'm swept west by the current, tangled in my swing set in the backyard. Not cool. I struggle for a long time and eventually feel like it's over for me, but my leg is finally freed and I swim quickly to the surface. Everything around me is underwater , almost up to the tip of the taller trees (around 4 or 5 stories high), and there is a current going on. Like the wave just won't stop. Like a flood almost. It's one massive river. Then I wake up.

Scary that it fits the predictions. Wave froming from the east, being like a continuously stream, blowing everything and consuming everything in its path. I just thought of it now, and it's best to share it. Scary.

Bummer...too bad i live in the mountains....muhahahaha. now i can hoard stuff and make my post apocolyptic stand huntin deer with four eyes (no idea how genetic mutation came from a tsunami, but thats whats gonna happen......no doubt about it).

But nah, i believe GW will kill us long before that happens. But if it does, blame it on terrorists.

I don't even fucking care anymore. I wish we all went a little cooler though. Like if godzilla decided to take a boat to all the different continents and started killing people. Choice

Man there are so many things that are just about to kill us all that the idea of a giant wave isn't really impressive anymore.
Disease, Famine, Meteors, Terrorist, Tornados, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Drunk Drivers, Biological Warfare, Nuclear Attacks, Killer Bees, Fire... etc etc etc.
There is no way we can try to fix every potential problem. Haven't you figured that out yet. We can't save the world because we aren't killing the world. The world is killing us. It has been here for billions and billions of years and will be here for billions and billions more, and if not it will because of a universal event, rather than anything that we mere humans could come up with.
