My girlfriend and I are planning on having 2 wedings. One for the family(christian). And a handfasting ceremony with a friend of ours that owns a witch/occult shop.

I would love to incorporate it somehow into the main wedding. I think that would be awesome.

what i was thinking was just a simple tying of a ribbon around our hands... around this area ppl put lassos on each other (this is from mexican heritage i think).. i think in greek families they do crowns with ribbons attatching the two... we have celtic ancestors so yeah... ribbons on the hands. i like it.

what happened to her?
she just moved on

KC I tell you one option we didn't include in the poll, that of performing a handfasting, which I will be doing next year for the couple who did a fairy wedding, they had a tradional marriage but wish to renew their vows in the pagan way!

I had a kind of traditional wedding (no Christian stuff though), and included a hand-fasting. And a Native American Prayer.
