i write little bits and piece them together, kindve a poet songwriter, i feel even if its 2 words or 2 pages if its what u feel its worth writing.
this piece is small but its my last piece, i like how just someone askin u a question can set u off and u just hear the words in ur hear.

shadow of love.
you ask me how im doin i guess im doin fine
it seems true love is a shadow of time
just an empty feeling something inside
something everyone wants but no one seems to find

when i saw the doc, on john lennons death, i decided to write a tribute,but so many people have so to be different i took characters out of his poetry books and blended them with the real killer.
ive had the song stolen but what im gonna post is the 2nd verse and chorus which is all i have left.
its played fast on acoustic,kinda folky sung like dylan.

verse.
catcher in the rye,john lennon had to die.
the way he figuerd pull the trigger and make the whole world cry.
he was the actor in the final chapter.
he had to kill him,now by the millions people ask ..............why?
chorus.
cause im partly dave,
and i have a mission in life.
my best friend is frank and hes coverd in flies
im on a trip, yeah im traveling along.
with my wumberlog i mean my magic dog.

i had more but my ex band stole alot of my songs, this is a working piece i have left the 1st and3rd verses and middle eight r gone but im proud of it his characters fit in well with his death so i thought it was fitting.
