Teachers teach the golden rules

To all the smart cats and the petty fools

And then when we leave the schools

We wonder why we don’t know a goddamn thing

Scientists try to keep our attentions

With all of their new useless inventions

And talks about outer dimensions

And all the great things they supposedly bring

So I don’t see the point, of what’s going on in the world

And America seems to be the worst

The winds of war are being whirled and twirled

And America seems to be the first

So I don’t see the point, of staying around

In the city with a television box

I’ll move to the country and live off the sound

Of cows, dogs, cats and a fox

Politicians are the definition of a liar

The news on the T.V. gets dire and dire

And as the body count gets higher and higher

They just sit back and have a mighty good laugh

I’ll tell you people, I’ve tried and I’ve tried

To dig all those who killed and lied

So I tried to swallow my pride

But I could only stomach half

So I don’t see the point, of what’s going on in the world

And America seems to be the worst

The winds of war are being whirled and twirled

And America seems to be the first

So I don’t see the point, of staying around

In the city with a television box

I’ll move to the country and live off the sound

Of cows, dogs, cats and a fox

sounds like a song and if it isn't, it should be. I like this a lot. Good job.
