What's DMT like vs other intense psychedelics

If u smoke good quality DMT, what's it like? I've never come across the stuff here in scotland. I've had crazy open eye hallucinations on shrooms, like seeing safari animals, huge cities, mountain landscapes in my living room, incredibly detailed gemotric structures etc, but there's always some kind of sense of "wow holy shit im seeing all this crazy stuff".

On DMT, am I right in thinking its a little different? Are you actually gonna lose all sense of space time and experience something completely "other"?

I also here one can procure this substance from a frog. Are these guys for sale, and do you have to kill them to extract the DMT?

DMT is nothing like any other psychedelics. Its on its own.
And you can get dmt from extracting it from toad venom, but i forget what kind of toad right now.

The best way I've heard it described is this: LSD is like riding a mountain bike. You pick it up, mount it and you have to go through all the gears before you reach top speed. DMT is like being shot out of a cannon. You light the fuse and 30 seconds later, you're gone.

If you forget about the speed of the come-up, I think DMT is the end point of where all psychedelics shoot you. Taking a dose of LSD so big that you loose your ego will feel similiar to loosing you ego on DMT as well.

However, I can't back that up with personal experience, it's just a conjecture.

Well, he means that it is the most powerful, which indeed I believe it is. But it isn't the most potent. Acid is, because you only need to take such minuscule amounts. Where as DMT you need several milligrams.

Unfortunately since moving back to NJ from So. FL I haven't come across anyone that is into it here. First, the experience is relatively short, 15-20 minutes max, but in that 20 minutes. . . Fairies, leprechauns, angles, aliens, have been a part of this trip forever. I don't think it to be a trip at all man. The things I saw and interacted with were SOLID. They were there, I could smell them feel them, beings that look like aliens, I'm telling you man, if your not prepared for it it can easily blow your mind. My first time I wasn't aware what i took. And really freaked. It seemed like hours, yet it was like 20 minutes. I really think it just triggers a part of the brain that has laid dormant for ages. I think it's dimensional. I think it's real, and I think people that have abduction experiences either have that part of the brain triggered for them or it happens by chance. I was coherent yet everything was off. I wasn't seeing trails, I was seeing beings, it started with shadows, and then boom. I can't wait to go there again. Graham Hancock's new book Supernatural is a must read. You will never ever look at the world, and life the same way again, after the dmt experience.

Yeah, dmt is supposed to be the most visual powerful psychadelic with it's effects, though it takes mgs to get an effect. Salvoreon A, which I probably misspelled, in salvia is the most potent, taking only a few ugs for threshhold effects, plus the effects are crazy. Not necesarraly visual, weren't for me...off topic though. Does DMT make you feel sick afterward, or jittery, like salvia(it did for me at least)?

I get very shaky afterward. It takes about 20-30 minutes after the experience to calm down. I've puked once, right after coming out of the trance. It was strange, though. I didn't feel sick, I just knew that I had to throw up and grabbed a trash bag.

i have yet to try dmt i live down in fort lauderdale florida and we have plenty of bufo toads down here but i dont know how to extract the dmt from them, i have read about it but i am not up for doing it, im not that desperate to try. but if i could get a hold of some i would most deffinetly go for the experience.

It is described as to a lone journey into your own mind. You completely leave your body and explore the wonders of what only you can create! The only other thing that could possibly do something amazing as this would be strong Salvia Divinorum extracts, but even they aren't comparable. To experience DMT, I would try making an Ayahuasca brew with ingreediants you can buy online. I'm not sure if they're all legal in Scotland! Good luck!

I have heard of many people talking to other beings on DMT. My question is do these people believe anything about the world we supposedly live in is real at all? Is it all just an illusion? If so what about your life has changed the most? I have taken acid trips where I completely detached from this world and went into another world for the whole trip. I actually found myself in the middle of an endless desert trudging on as the massive sun ignited everything in extreme light. I dont remember anything else from the trip so I doubt I would remember a DMT trip. For all I know I have done DMT before and just can not remember. The first time I did mushrooms I forgot the trip and didnt remember that I had ever done shrooms for over a year.

DMT isn't "stronger" than salvia, but it's more likely to 'work' like it should with a given individual trying it and is more likely to be a pleasant and interesting experience, whereas Salvia is not uncommonly associated with discomfort and disturbance or terror (the sweating, melting, gravity, and of couse that lovely *realizing* your life was some kind of show or game).

I love those substances. Just wouldn't wanna use them daily. :&

People are confusing 5-MeO-DMT with DMT. They're different. The stuff you extract from toads is actually poisonous. I don't recommend it.
