I've smoked DMT a few times now, with 2 breakthrough experiences (I wanted to take it easy with this shit. It's not a toy at all) which lead me to believe that I need further exploration. The problem is that I just cannot handle the fast onset. I need my hardcore trips to have a come-up, and the DMT rush scares me so bad I can't help but try to fight it. Since I'm too lazy and forgetful to take an MAOI (I'd end up eating the wrong shit the next day and having some really bad effects) that rules out Ayahuasca. Yopo seems like it'd be right up my alley, however. The thing is, I have pure DMT crystals, not yopo seeds. I was wondering if anyopne might have an idea of a intranasal dose for pure DMT. I really don't want to take too much, but I can handle a pretty hardcore trip. Even though I freak out every time, I still handle it better than most of the people I've seen try it.

Since I'm drunk, I'll post my actual question here, since the above seems too long for what I really need. How much pure insufflated DMT would I need to go on a spirit quest?

The DMT will be freebase I assume and will burn insuffulated, but I hear it extends the peak and onset slightly. How much smoked DMT do you normally take? Id say start around 40mg. You could also convert it to the HCl salt and IM it

I honestly don't know how much I smoke at once. I just eyeball a little and put it in a pipe and smoke till I can't anymore. It's not like you could OD smoking this shit. You'll lose all motor skill long before that point.

And yeah, I could convert it to HCl and IV/IM, but I don't fuck with needles. Too much of an addictive personality.

I guess eyeball the amount you would smoke and snort that. I havent read too much about insuffulated dmt, post how it goes if you try it

there really aren't that many foods you can't eat with an MAOi... it's basically just no cheese or meat or medication... even so my friend and i both have had cheese before taking syrian rue and were fine.

you could try making into a salt and diluting it in dH20 (buffered slightly if you are so inclined). Then take it intranasaly at regular intervals. Transdermal is another possibility but I think you might have to deal with MAO again.

Stay away from meats, cheeses, SOME medications, all alcohol. If someone REALLY wants to attempt an 'uasca experience, they should commit to about 10 days of water fasting.

I don't think your really need a tyramine free diet for 10 days! 12 hours should be fine- to be safe not sorry I didn't eat anything at all for 24 hours before and about 12 hours after. I got a slight headache and I think thats because I added some vinegar to my mimosa brew- a stupid idea really- foods to avoid with an MAOI- 'anything that's been left to spoil'- vinegar is pretty much spoilt wine.

You could take it anally (could you not?) and it wouldn't burn like it would insufflated. You would take much less to achieve the same degree of experience, if it is like LSD or MDMA.
