The Rainbow Family is many things to many people. Just as one sees all the colors within a rainbow, so too shall you find all children of various races, spiritual/religious beliefs, as well as enviromental/political/etc view point.

If it is your first time at the rainblow, you are going to have to expereince as with everything in life, with heart and mind wide open. For me personally, the majority of it was great, the energy difference from the regular mundane existance which is my everyday life to that at the Gathering, were so much different. Very nuturing, loving, and healthy. Yet, a small percent I didn't care for, yet that's just me.

A basic description could range from 'a big ole hippie party to a spiritual retreat, it all depends on how you want to experience it.

That's just my view of it all.

many blessings along your path to rainbow

what the hell is the rainbow family??
It is an entity which lacks the quality of what-ness, therefore your question is essentially unanswerable.

Have you read the sticky thread at the top of the forum little sis? Have you checked the links?

Anyone think that we can get Skip to put some flashing arrows pointing to the sticky and have the lables say something like 'Rainbow info here' 'Curious about Rainbow? Click here' and so on...maybe a sounder that comes on when you first get on the page ;)

The kid's 17, he's not gonna read the darned directions, no matter how many flashing arrows point at them. Dragonfly the Elder, that is, the one from OM Valley, not my Lady, Dragonfly the Younger, called 'em the "Feed me, Burp me, Wipe me crowd."
