This kinda seems like the right place for this post. I was put into a rotten mood yesterday morning. I got my wages through and the first thing I did, kinda as always, was head to the frut and veg shop. Got some lovely peppers and tomatoes by the way.
While I was picking the peppers I got this coughing in my ear. And not a throat clearer...a hocky, phlegmy cold cough. Now the shop is just a small local place and 99% of the time people are very polite and wait til there's space to get at the produce.
This cougher doesn't go for any of that though. That was a bit rude I thought. But nothing to get upset about really.
Then I hear the fellow say, "Arh would you get out of the way man, Terry!" in a frustrated and somewhat angry tone. And Terry wasn't this man's distracted older brother or dog or something. But his 3 year old daughter.
Terry's Mam, who's standing with the buggy smoking at cigarette at the entrance. Is loudly dishing out instructions, but has to pause every now and again to tell Terry to shut up.
So my foul mood from the coughing just turned to total sadness for this little girl. I'm sure 3 year olds can stress you out, I guess a kid of any age could really! But I didn't hear a peep out of her. She was just following her Dad round the shop. And she definitely wasn't screaming or shouting on outside.
And aye, I don't like that http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

i don't have kids, but even if i did I wouldn't want to ever treat them as if they are the biggest inconvienence in the world to me and my life. They should be treated as if they are the most special 'possession' you own. (not that you technically own a kid - but i'm sure you can understand what I mean).

Yeah but not too much or they'll walk all over you, it is very hard not to be a hypocrite. I know several (self included)
